How to upload India map and .gpx route map to your Garmin devices

Steps to upload the map file to devices

1. Download the gmapsupp.zip from one of the above link

2. Unzip the file will give you gmapsupp.img

3. Connect your Garmin device to your computer's USB port

4. In windows explorer, select 'GARMIN' drive (Like selecting a pen drive or memory card)

5. copy the gmapsupp.img file to 'Garmin' folder in the GARMIN drive

6. Once copied, eject the GARMIN device before unplug the USB cable

7. With this, you can be able to navigate India map in your Garmin device

How to upload .gpx file as a course to Garmin device?

1. Keep your gpx file in your computer

2. Connect your Garmin device to your computer's USB port

3. In windows explorer, select 'GARMIN' drive (Like selecting a pen drive or memory card)

4. copy your .gpx to 'Garmin/NewFiles' folder in the GARMIN drive

5. Once copied, eject the GARMIN device before unplug the USB cable

6. After this, you can see your map in your device under Training -> Training Plan ->Find course
